Happy Birthday Angelheart!

*I must note, she isn't just being silly. This was a glow stick she had at night and thought it might look neat to have her face glowing, but with the flash it was too bright and without it was too dark, and that is just about the limit of my abilities with my digital camera.

Happy belated birthday, Adria! Hope it was a smashing time!

That photo-op does prevent quite the conundrum. I don't know how you would shoot something like that without being able to open your aperture up really wide and having Adria sit perfectly stone still for like a whole minute or something.

I've been reading mostly YA books. We've (The A's and I) been reading a lot of Tamora Pierce. Fantasy type. I've also just finished reading The Last Unicorn. Remember that movie. It always enchanted me, the book is a lot the same, except you get to understand the characters better, etc. Good stuff.
Toddlerdom is not ALL bad. It's just that mishaps tend to be remembered and more easily shared than good stuff (you know you tell someone about something they did that was so cute, but without the cute two year old in action they just don't quite get it?).

I meant to ask you if you remembered the movie, not order you to...

heh, heh. Remember the movie, or else! heh. I didn't even notice, but now that you point it out, it just makes me giggle. Thanks! I needed the endorphins.

p.s. the reading sounds fun. thanks for sharing! I'd like to read the last unicorn sometime, the movie is still a well-loved childhood memory for me.
I have this book called Peter and the Starcatchers that I really really enjoyed, I think you and the A's would probably enjoy it to. If you're interested, let me know, I'd be happy to loan it to you. :)

You know, now that you brought it up, I may just have to read it again before we give it back! ;)
