o.k. so we wrapped them in the plastic just for the picture. The children ate them up immediately afterward. It was pretty fun to do, although without the hovering, impatient, younger children it would have been less nerve wracking, but considering that, it really went amazingly well.
We are, however, not candy artists and this is the best we could do. They were yummy though.

looks pretty professionally done to me. that strawberry especially. I tried to make sticky suckers once with my friends (I think we even filmed the process as a cooking show type thing). It was kind of disaster, though, because we didn't cook it long enough, so it wouldn't hold the shapes, and tasted kind of nasty too. Bummer.
yum, those look delicious and fun. And it looks to me like strawberry shortcake--who was only my favorite 80's toy character EVER! Sweet.
